Focus on Morgan & Sam

Morgan and Sam met in a small country town, 6 hours north west of Mooloolaba while teaching at the same school. Their paths crossed regularly at the local pub for after work drinks. One day Sam went over to Morgan’s house and he hasn’t left since.

Sam proposed to Morgan by setting up a scavenger hunt around town. At each location stood a friend of the couples with an item that led Morgan to their favourite place – a dam at their friends’ property. While the sunset, Sam proposed to Morgan.

Morgan wore a custom made gown and said it was a great experience working with Brad to create her vision. The gown matched perfectly to the flowers… And as for Sam, wait until you see his costume change into his party shirt!

With their two fur-babies, Jam & Donut, in tow, there was no way the couple were going to let the weather dampen their spirits. A laid back, and laughter filled ceremony on the Mooloolaba Beach Events Deck was just the relaxed atmosphere Morgan and Sam wanted for their guests.

“Sam grew up in Coolum and they love coming back as often as possible so they knew they wanted a Beach location for their Wedding. “The fact that the function room is modern and has neutral colours and being complete beachfront made it an easy choice for us. It was easy to style, has great views and can accommodate large crowds so it was the perfect place for us. Bianca and her team were so flexible and accommodating. Their communication and response time were outstanding!” – Morgan.

Morgan and Sam are such a fun couple which shines through their beautiful photographs. The dance floor was burning all night with the always amazing Radio Club Band.

Morgan and Sam opted for a less traditional (but never disappointing!) dessert table and donut wall created by Mel from Chocolate2Chilli. “Mel got the quality and quantity perfect!” – Morgan.

Morgan’s advice to other brides-to-be “Do what you want! It’s your day – don’t let other people’s opinions crowd your vision for the day. We did a lot of non-traditional things (Friday wedding, walked down the aisle together, no groomsmen or bridesmaids, etc.) and it was exactly what we wanted!” – Morgan.
